Mary Beth is a Richmond, VA-based artist specializing in bold, colorful paintings of flowers and everyday moments. She enjoys playing with scale, pattern and weaving travel inspiration into her work.

Mary Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University with Studio Art and Art Education concentrations. She is a certified visual arts teacher with over a decade of teaching under her belt.

When not painting in her home studio, you can find her at her other studio, Happy Palette. Mary Beth has been running this children's art studio in Henrico, VA since 2020.

She lives with her husband, Nolen, and daughter, Sadie. They enjoy weekends on the Rappahannock River, visits to the VMFA, Virginia Tech sports (when they are good), and traveling near and far.
